FAQs
What do I need to do before my tuning appointment?
Your vehicle must be mechanically sound. Please ensure:
- Fresh spark plugs (correctly gapped).
- A full tank of the fuel you plan to run .
- No active oil, coolant, or exhaust leaks.
- A healthy battery (crucial for flashing the computer).
Can you "tune out" a mechanical problem?
No. Tuning is the final step to optimize a healthy engine. If your truck has a vacuum leak or a bad sensor, a tune will not fix it; it may even make the symptoms more obvious.
Will a tune void my factory warranty?
What vehicles and software do you support?
To provide the highest level of precision and safety, we focus exclusively on Chevrolet/GM factory ECUs using HP Tuners and Holley EFI standalone systems.
Supported Systems: All Gen III, IV, and V GM platforms (LS and LT engines) and all Holley EFI platforms (Terminator X, HP, Dominator and Sniper).
What we DO NOT tune:
We do not tune handheld “canned” tuners (Diablo, SCT, etc.), diesel platforms, or non-GM factory ecu’s. By staying dedicated to the GM ecosystem, we ensure your vehicle gets a superior level of calibration that general shops simply can’t match.
What kind of support do you offer after my tune is finished?
Our Support Policy:
The 30-Day “Driveability” Window: If you notice any hiccups in cold starts, idle quality, or shifting within the first 30 days, bring it back or send us a data log. We will adjust the software at no cost to ensure it’s perfect.
Diagnostic Assistance: If a “Check Engine” light or performance issue arises post-tune, we will help you pull codes and review data logs to determine if it is a Tuning Issue (Software) or a Mechanical Issue (Hardware).
If it is a calibration: We fix it for free.
If it’s mechanical (failed plug wires or fuel pressure drop): We will provide a diagnostic report so you know exactly what needs to be fixed. Standard shop labor rates apply if you’d like us to perform the mechanical repair.
